Call for Peer Reviewed Papers

The ACM Mid-Southeast Chapter Fall Conference is putting out a call for peer reviewed papers, (call for abstracts and posters will come in early September). The ACM Mid-Southeast Chapter Fall Conference is one of the oldest ACM conferences and provides a forum for discussion of current applications and experimental, theoretical and educational developments in all areas of computing. Faculty and graduate students are invited to contribute a paper for peer review that is no more than 4 pages long, if the committee selects your paper the document will be published on the conference website, and abstract will be published in the conference proceedings and the submitting author(s) will need to make a 20-minute paper presentation.

All presenters must register for the conference in advance. Graduate Student Papers:

Papers in this category must be authored and presented solely by currently enrolled graduate students.

Suggested topics include but are NOT limited to:

About the Conference:

The conference will begin Thursday, November 9, with registration from 4 to 6 p.m. Registration will continue on Friday morning November 10 at 7:00 a.m. All presentation sessions will be Friday morning and afternoon. The conference will conclude Friday evening with the conference banquet.

Hotel Accommodations:

Attendees should contact the Glenstone Lodge directly at 865-436-9361 or 1-800-362-9522 to make reservations. Cost for the rooms is $89. You should identify yourself as “Association for Computing Machinery”. A block of rooms has been reserved at the Glenstone Lodge with a cutoff date of October 16, 2017. Any reservations after that date will be provided on a space available basis and the rates are subject to change. Conference dates are November 910, 2017; presentations are on the 10th.
